Facebook

We haven't told facebook the big news yet.. and it won't be a secret for much longer but facebook is just so public.. with all those people I don't really talk to from high school, college, professionally within my industry, friends of friends, etc. While I LOVE that I'm bringing a life into this world..... I refuse to let my facebook turn into everything pregnancy. I have those friends who post daily about their doctors appointments, symptoms, cravings, etc. etc. etc. And it really is terribly annoying. I am pregnant, in their shoes now (which none of them know!!) and I'm still annoyed. People stop by my facebook for a little lift in their day, for a small ray of sunshine that they don't get from Cleveland, Ohio. I enjoy posting about work and travel and life, insightful quotes and optimistic outlooks... not .. pregnancy. But when the day comes that I make it facebook news, I want the announcement to be creative. And then guide people to this little blog if they care to read about pregnancy stuff. Because like I said, it WON'T be on facebook :)
